Mr. Harper has a strong background in retail and commercial property project management and development, with over $130m of commercial projects completed.

Mr. Harper has also worked extensively in Asia: Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and China, as a consultant in the areas of marketing and sales to the region’s largest five star hotels.

Mr. Harper was active within the Tasmanian business community, holding a number of senior roles within industry organisations, the most prominent of these was as Chairman of the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

He has also been the Vice President of the Property Council
of Australia.
